We  invite you to the celebration of the 78th anniversary of the birth of Blessed Father Jerzy Popiełuszko, which will take place on September 14th in Okopy, Podlasie.

The event program includes:

10:30 AM – Wreath-laying ceremony by delegations at the monument to Father Jerzy in Suchowola

12:00 PM – Solemn outdoor Mass in Okopy with the participation of standard-bearers

1:30 PM – RAP concert “Ku Wolności” performed by the band “Wyrwani z Niewoli” featuring Jacek “Heres” Zajkowski, Piotr Zalewski, and Kasia Zalewska

This is a unique opportunity to jointly honor the memory and legacy of a priest whose life and ministry became a symbol of courage, faith, and care for others.

The event is open to all – admission is free.

Join us on this special day to remember Father Popiełuszko. Jerzy and draw strength from his life testimony.

The event is held under the Honorary Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki.
